The public is getting distorted facts about immigrants.
■ If the public wants lower inflation, accept the benefits of immigrants
Over 9.5 million jobs are unfilled causing supply chain issues/shortages and higher prices with substandard service.
■ If the public wants to ensure they get their monthly Social Security checks, they must accept the benefits of immigrants.
We are an aging society that must keep a steady flow of new workers to pay into Social Security. Without immigrants, Social Security checks could be diminished.
■ If the public wants low priced housing, they must accept the benefits of immigrants.
Immigrants comprise about 47% of construction workers. The construction industry desperately needs new workers. If immigrants were deported, expect major price hike for housing and more housing shortages.
■ If the public wants lower priced grocery items, they must accept the benefits of immigrants.
Immigrant labor dominate the agriculture industry. Reduce their numbers will significantly raise the price of basic food items.
■ If the public wants a safer community, they must accept the benefits of immigrants.
Immigrants cause a significantly lower rate of crime than native born Americans. Over 47% lower levels of crime! They make a community safer!
Immigrants/asylum seekers/refugees comprise an essential component of our economy/society. We are an aging nation that must seek an infusion of younger people. Yes, we need to control/secure our borders, but we also need comprehensive immigrant reform legislation to establish new rules and parameters and procedures to greatly benefit from all forms of immigration. Democrats have a plan that maximizes benefits of immigrants, while Republican have an immoral/unfeasible plan of mass deportation of millions of immigrants!
