Democrats must change the narrative about inflation and its effects on the working class. Republicans have been affective conflating COVID related inflation as a sin of the Biden Administration. Clearly, Biden had little effect on the spike in inflation since COVID. Just because Biden was President when COVID created inflation doesn’t translate to blaming Biden. That is absurd and totally without logical or economic foundation.
COVID caused a spike in inflation in America and across the world. The private sector did a terrible job adjusting to the effects of COVID via their problematic international supply chain. Huge shortages of products created a spike in prices throughout the marketplace. Our private sector supply chain still has yet to fully recover as shortage continue to disrupt the business community and consumers.
What caused the spike in Inflation?
1. COVID effect on every aspect of the economy
2. Russian/Ukraine war destabilized the economy raising prices for energy.
3. Corporate GREED is now the number one cause of inflation. Unjustified price increase despite RECORD profits, record executive pay, record stock market!
4. Climate Change is causing massive floods, droughts, destructive/amplified storms which damage personal, business and public infrastructure. Property insurance, flood insurance have skyrocketed. Prices for certain grocery items have spiked …. etc.
5. Federal Reserve System, an independent entity has spiked interest rates that effect every American.
Clearly, Biden was a victim of inflation as most Americans. Elect any Republican, guaranteed inflation will again skyrocket as his economic plan is a recipe for inflation! Vote for EVERY Democrat on the ballot. Stability and lower inflation will continue with a Harris/Walz administration!
