Democratic progressive policies are working while Republican policies are a disaster. The evidence is overwhelming and compelling when comparing states.
Just look at the wealthiest states in the country (GDP/capita); they are all controlled by the Democratic Party.
1. New York State (Democrat) $90,730
2. Massachusetts (Democrat) $87,860
3. Washington State (Democrat) $86,027
4. California (Democrat) $82,975
5. Connecticut (Democrat) $78,093
Look at the poorest states in America (GDP/capita); they are all Republican controlled states.
GDP/capita
1. Mississippi (Republican) $39,102
2. West Virginia (Republican) $45,272
3. Arkansas (Republican) $45,892
4. Alabama (Republican) $47,323
5. Idaho (Republican) $48,309
Clearly, state government have much more power to control the destiny of their citizens socially, economically and financially. Democratic polices create wealth and its citizens reelected them at election day. Every state that had Democratic control won reelection and voted for Harris/Walz. But in Republican controlled states with the weakest economies in America, Republicans continue to vote for Republican State rule. WHY? If they want dynamic change, they should have voted for a change in political leadership in their state. They are voting against their financial/economic interests. Instead, they blamed Biden!
There is no monolithic economy in America. Every state has distinct advantages/attributes and failures. If the federal government was so powerful, every state would have similar economic/social outcomes, but they clearly don’t. The governors and their state legislature have massive power in every area effecting the working-class like education, infrastructure, healthcare, and social welfare support. Federal government assistance only “supplements” state government efforts. Voters must understand this critical dynamic.
