The Republican created “DOGE” group must be registered as a political lobby group. The evidence of their influence and power over the federal government is overt and dangerous. Clearly, Musk and Ramaswamy have direct financial benefits via their involvement in restructuring/dismantling government and its protective regulations. Democracy has a well established process of registering lobbyist to protect the public from undue influence.
Republicans have given huge extraordinary governmental powers to “unelected Oligarchs”. If we allow the DOGE group to continue their work to undermine government for their financial benefit, the public/the working class will be severely harmed. Government has been established to protect the public. Government must be “by the people, for the people”. Now the Republican Party is redefining government as “we the rich, for the rich” with devastating consequences to the working class, consumers and planet earth. Government is suppose to protect us from greedy entities not embrace/empower greed!
