⇒ Americans state that inflation is their number one issue of importance. But without foundation, they blame President Biden yet the clear fault of inflation is the monumental effects of COVID in every aspect of the economy. Along with COVID, we see an increasing pattern of Corporate Greed at many levels that are raising prices without justification.
⇒ Housing both rental and for-sale markets are seeing skyrocketing prices that have ZERO blame by Biden or government. The “Federal Reserve System” raised interest rates that effect every America. They raised them because of the COVID related inflation that swept our nation and around the world. The Federal Reserve System is independent from the President. Biden has ZERO control of interest rates.
⇒ Another factor effecting high rental rates is high-technology in creating cell phone apps like AirBNB which monetizing housing units that competes with everyday renters. Less housing available to renters escalates rental rates across America. Also corporate housing corporations are colluding with each other in using third party data companies that have sophisticated algorithm in establishing daily changes in rental rates and fees that are charged to renters. In essence, it creates a monopoly within the rental housing market at the peril of renters …. higher rental rates and additional expensive fees!
⇒ High inflation? Blame the private sector greed and greater sophistication in extracting more money from consumers/the working class. Democrats with governing powers can protect the consumer from such high costs but Democrats need to win BIG in November. To make the changes to protect the public, the consumer, the renter, the home buyer, Democrats need to win the House, Senate and White House. If they don’t Republican obstructionism will again benefit the rich individual and large corporations. Split government will DOOM America.
